Jane's Little Tokyo Retro Futuristic Loft
This was done for Jane Wiedlin of The Go Go’s. The loft was originally a big box that was devoid of any personality or separation of living/sleeping areas. Jane wanted to combine her love of mid-century Sci-fi décor and Asian elements to reflect the Little Tokyo neighborhood in which this loft is located. We transformed the bathroom into a space cave with a shower/bathtub pod, built a sleeping loft, which has a closet system below to house her extensive wardrobe, and strategically added wall paper through out the space and river rock and a mantle for the fireplace to create focal points.
