Mateo's Leimert Park Penthouse

This apartment was designed for Mateo Rubio, the owner of the vintage furniture store Casa Victoria. Mateo wanted to take the blank canvas of this two story, Art Deco apartment and have the design reflect the African American roots of the neighborhood. We added wall coverings, murals and an extensive color scheme for the various rooms. We dubbed this style of design Afro Deco.
